Albums That Changed My Life is a spin-off podcast about Brian’s favorite albums. On this episode, he talks about his long-time love of Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace, and flips track-by-track through their 2005 record Healthy in Paranoid Times.
Hey Story Guys –
Thank you for highlighting such a great band. I have been a fan of OLP since 1993, when I heard “Starseed” on local radio. That song captivated me, and really changed my life with respect to music. I have all of the albums except “Curve” and “SM2”, but this podcast will have me revisit the entire catalog.
“Healthy in Paranoid Times” is also a go-to roadie album for me. This album is so good – such good rhythms and vibes. The first track “Angels|Losing|Sleep” is probably my favorite on the album.
I was fortunate to see them headline in 2017 in LA, and they were as incredible as I thought they would be. I hope I get the chance to see them again.
Thanks again for the great episode.
Tony
